CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
for Adults of all Ages & Abilities

  • AQUAFIT - use the resistance of the water to strengthen muscles and provide a cardiovascular workout, while cushioning the joints. A great work out for all ages and abilities!
  • BASIC - easy-to-follow footwork incorporated with stretches and mat-work.
  • DEEP WATER - shallow and deep water - using floatation devices and resistance gloves.
  • EASY DOES IT - a low impact class for beginners.
  • FITNESS WALK - take a stroll for fitness.
  • LWT - light weight training for the upper body using hand-held weights and/or mat exercises for the legs, abs and back.
  • STEP plus hi-low combination - run, jump, hop, skip, walk, and/or box, keeping the heart rate within the training heart rate zone - abdominal exercises & light weight work included.
  • FITNESS YOGA AND PILATES - increase joint range of motion, muscle length, muscle strength, and improve body alignment with core body stabilization.

ALL CLASSES ARE 30-45 MINUTES. ALL CLASSES ARE FOR AGES 18 AND ABOVE. NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED IN THE AEROBICS ROOM. APPROPRIATE SHOES ARE NEEDED FOR FITNESS CLASSES. FOR YOGA/PILATES, JAZZ OR BALLET, YOU MAY GO BAREFOOTED.
